Brief History

Rural Community Development Society (RCDS) has been working since 1995 as community organization. Since its inception organization has grown tremendously in the field of development sector. It is started different programs for community uplifting and social transformation. RCDS is working on poverty alleviation and empowering marginalized, deprived, oppressed and neglected communities through its different programs. RCDS believes that empowerment and social change is only possible through ensuring the effective and efficient participation of marginalized communities in economic development.

UNDP for the Community Restoration

RCDS has signed agreement with UNDP for the community restoration through integrated early recovery program for flood affected communities of 7 villages of union councils Samtia, Karor Thal Jandi of Tehsil Karor Lal Easan, & Bakhri Ahmad Khan and Jhakar of Tehsil & District Layyah, Punjab.
